10th Annual New Play Competition, Best Of The Best
a showcase of literary talent
February 17 - March 4, 2012, 7:30 p.m. nightly

Six local playwrights compete for a chance to win $1,000 cash and bragging rights for the entire year. Audience members vote for their favorite one-act play each night. On closing night, we tally all the votes and award the cash and prizes. It's an unprecedented night of original works.  The finalists are:

A romantic comedy of mistaken identities featuring TeCo's T-An-T (Teenagers and Theater) Apprenticeship students.  Partnerships include the Dallas County Juvenile Department and the Volunteer Center of North Texas truancy program.

Teen 10-Minute Playwrights Competition
Dramaturge & Workshop Coordinator, Jonathan Norton
August 9 - 11, 2012, 7:30 nightly

We're inviting six TEEN playwrights to compete for a chance to win $500 cash and a backpack full of supplies.  Audience members will be given ballots to vote for their favorite ten-minute play on each night of the show.  On closing night, we tally the votes and award the winning playwright with the cash and prizes.

Black Nativity: A Reason To Celebrate
