WENDELL EARL GORDEN
Born and raised in the state of Oklahoma, Mr. Gorden believes that all arts should have something to say about its viewer.  He first began his pursuit of photography in 1967 at Phu Loi South Vietnam.  While repairing and building helicopters, he photographed many difficult war time experiences and soon became estranged from the camera.  "I didn't pick up another camera seriously until 1982.  Those visual and emotional experiences were just too real," recants Mr. Gorden.  By the time he had another camera in hand, time had helped to overcome many past issues.  A friend offered to sell him a camera for $35 and he hasn't been without one since.
